Wheee! News & Changes...

Hello All,

   Well, we had fun & productive get together over my dining room table, some tea & coffee and Cathie Hamiton's shortbread (see what you're missing). Cathie had attended Andrea Mossop's Talk on applying for Juried Shows and had some handouts for us. I am happy to have them as even after 32 years things change and I have stuff to learn. When I started applying for shows there were no guidelines or seminars.

  Anyway, I am going to amalgamate the ART & the KA&L email lists so that I'm not posting news and announcements in two places sometimes to the same people. If one of you would like to take over the Artists Round Table ... be my guest....no, I didn't think so! No problem. 

   I still want to share any news with everyone but desperately need to cut down on the time I spend (I spent two hours on the last Kingston Arts & Letters blog post....hate Wordpress!!!) so I'll do it all through the KA&L. 

    I enjoy having the meetings on Tuesday mornings once a month, especially at Puppet Annie's or in my deck in the sun....more folk seem to show up. However, as always, if anyone has any suggestions do let me know.

    Artitsts Round Table:   First Tuesday of every month 11am, usually at 14 Richard St but we do move around for fun and interest. (Free)

  

    Kingstoin Arts & Letters Club: Second Tuesday of the month September to June 7pm at the KYC. $20 membership, speakers and theme each gathering with party &eats Dec &                   June.
