Hey,

has anyone seen the ppt that sir attached to his email about the paper guidelines? Is everyone okay with 40 pages of text being the minimum? (and 50 pages maximum) If yes, how are you able to find enough material to give a non-plagiarized paper?

Please help!!

Regards,

Hima

It's going to be difficult to write that much. Can we please speak to him about a reduction?

Yes! specially for people writing individual papers. I don't think it's fair to have the same number of pages for individual and group projects.

No to say that 40 is a little too much!

It's also double line spacing, but evn that doesn't help much. it makes an eight page document ten pages. :|

40 is a bit much, yes.

The page limits will be the same for one or two - or i need to increase the pages to double for a group of two - !

However i can reduce the minimum to 25 and maximum to 35 pages as you are confessing about your past deeds.

Sir,
Some of us doing joint projects have quite a bit of research. 25 pages with double line spacing works out to 5000 odd words, which is 2500 per person and hardly seems enough for a seminar paper. Could we extend the word limit for joint projects if the topic allows for it?

If it is a join project it is like a join authorship and there is no split in terms of words. I reduced the pages based hue cry from many of you.

Now the new dispensation is  a minimum of 25 page and 35 pages maximum for individual projects.  A minimum of 25 pages and a maximum of 40 pages for group projects.

We need to close this discussion on page limit and get on with the project.

bes wishes
