server is in maintenance pending removal of failed, redundant hard drive

Please note that the main server has been down since earlier today due to a failed redundant hard drive. Mike should be able to pull this drive (which is in fact under a 5 year warranty) and then reboot the machine later today.

After several hours of maintenance, Mike Hugo and I have brought the server back up, with the new hard drive in place. (Hooray for five year warranties! And boo for Western Digital taking over a week and four phone calls in order to fulfill them!)
