The people who tortured need to go to prision ( justice is required )

President Obama seems to think that it's  acceptable to allow the people who tortured prisoners to get a free pass.

No, it isn't  They need to go to prison.   It was against our law. It was against treaty law.  It was a violation of human rights and it may still be happening.  President Obama is on the wrong side of history. He wants to look to the future rather than prosecute the crimes of the past.  That's reason enough to reject him and the Democrats.

Torture is evil.  If you do it then you need to go to prision.  As far as I know nobody has gone to prison for waterboarding and waterboarding IS torture.  People died in our custody.  The people who killed them need to go to prison.  Justice is required.  Investigation is required.  Senator Leahy has failed to do his duty under the Constitution and the rule of law.

He has the power to investigate torture and reveal the truth about it. He should be rejected by Vermonters this November.

Torture is unacceptable.  Nobody gets a pass. There are no excuses which are acceptable.

Our government has done evil in our name.  It is irrelevant whether the people who did the actual torture were Americans, Israelis, Pakistanis or Syrians.  Whoever does torture needs to go to prison.  That's how you stop it.  That's what needs to be done.   I ask that everyone in the world stop supporting the United States and to stop buying U.S. products until the people who have done torture are in prison.

The only thing that is needed for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.  Stop supporting the United States.

Justice is required.
