Role : Sr SQL DBA

Duration : 6-12+ months

Location : Seattle, WA (Locals preferred)

 

Analytical ability, good communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff: 

• Proficiency in MS SQL 2008/ 2012/2014 and related database product technologies, including TDP, TDE, Snap Manager for backups, Tivoli, Log Shipping and SQL Replication 

• Proficiency in MS SQL monitoring tools, including SCOM/MOM, Perf Mon, Profiler, DMV’s, SQL DIAG, Extended events 

• Proficiency in Windows 2008+ scripting 

• Understands the systems development process and has a solid understanding of business processes.

Comments to Supplier : This position will require the DBA to work the following schedule (Pacific Standard Time) to accommodate Application project implementations and maintenance outage windows: Monday - 8am-5pm (negotiable to an earlier start time, if preferred) Tuesday - 8am-5pm (negotiable to an earlier start time, if preferred) Thursday - 8am-5pm (negotiable to an earlier start time, if preferred) Friday night - 10pm - 5am Saturday night - 10pm - 5am
