Greetings from Sir Brand.
It is hard to believe a week has passed since Art of War. Plans for
2010 have already started (with MANY details to fill in yet:-)
It was an honor and a pleasure to work with you all. Thanks again to
all the staff who spent so much energy and time bringing it off and to
you for attending. Thanks to you all, we have a new tradition in An
Tir!
1st Business: Lost & Found. To you attending, I send a link to
Pictures of most of the stuff. I will just send out descriptions to
the rest of folks. Double Claims will be asked to explain
themselves;-)
Please write me so we can arrange delivery.

Buckler (well used and heavy duty)
Cooper Hockey-LaCrosse Glove
2 Cups (ie, armor cups) in Straps, one just Strap (with broken leg
strap)
Leather Wrist Strap (found at Buskashi (sp) Field)
2 Spears, well used. (Kane has them now) ONE CLAIMED
Two White Franklin Knee Pads (Richard?)
Faux Leather Apron
Purple Water Bottle
Plastic Helmet (kids?)
Glove (Grey) Hi Tech fabric.
3 Portable Holes (used on the Buskashi (sp) Field) CLAIMED
Notebooks, Writing Pads (3) CLAIMED
3 Yards Coat Weight Red Cloth (Cloak, probably). Spartan?
CLAIMED
Black Floppy Hat. Has "Sir Caieth" written inside. CLAIMED
Heavy Metal Mug (Insulated. Someone was asking about such)
CLAIMED
Pottery Mug (yellowish, very cool) with beads hanging off the
handle. CLAIMED
2 Demi Gauntlets, both leather, one with Leather glove in it.

amazing. All are cool!:-)
If you did not give me your mailing address, please send so I can be
sure you get any mailed out notices on the next Art of War and other
activities (workshops, moots, etc.). If you have skills you want to
volunteer for next time (advertising, Web development, organization,
etc.) let me know (I have some names already to pass on to the next
Steward(s).)
I am thinking of asking Aquaterra to Sponsor another Spear Making
Workshop by Sir Hathawulf. Would you be interested in attending it? If
too far away, would you like to coordinate a workshop with Hathawulf
coming to YOUR group?
An idea was put forth about next time: Running the event from Thur -
Tue. Thur Fri - Advanced work for commander wanna-bes, Fri-Sun,
tracks for beg, int, and adv. fighters from start to finish. Monday
advanced work for all who can stay. Leave Tue AM.
How does that sound?
Got a Date? 2010 is the goal. April seems good. We WILL NOT conflict
with Avacal Investiture next time (is it usually the 2nd weekend of
April?). How about the 1st weekend of April? Maybe in the Fall? But
my feeling is it would be best to have Art of War in the Spring so
people can work their new skills at all the smaller wars that follow
(see list below). Of course, this has to fit into Aquaterra's
schedule and desires.
We are thinking of ordering an Art of War Color Sew-On Patch you could
put on a Favor or sew on your Gambeson. About $4.00 - $5.00 each
(Color, professionally done, rugged.) Would you be interested in
some? If so, how many (the more, the cheaper)
