Greetings friends of the Art of War - a transformative SCA War Training Event.
Sir Brand here.
I have been sending out notices from the Website about changes that
have been going on. I have found out that some folks are not getting
those notices.

So, here are some of the updates:

#1) We are much further along than you may expect. Contracts have been
signed. Reservations are taking place.

We have some of our instructors being confirmed and the shape of the
event is taking place. If you want to have input, NOW is the time to
catch up on the Website and take part. Just because the event is in
April, do NOT put this off until after 12th Night (we hope to have the
event sold out by then.) The major forming of the structure of the
Event is happening NOW.

DATE CHANGE: Due to many circumstances, our event date is now (and
will remain) April 10-13, 2008. (Yes, same as Tir Righ Coronet. I am
not happy about that either.)
Instructor show up is the evening of April 9. Students arrive noon
Thursday the 10th. It runs til Sunday late afternoon the 13th.

Classes simplified. 4 Tracks.
1) HardSuit. (All levels train together under our various commanders.
There will be a natural separation of skill levels and leadership
that will happen.)
2) War Archery / Crossover Spearmen
3) War Rapier / Crossover Spearmen.
4) Autocrating.

Basic food / lodging provided. Most all available open space is taken
up with training areas. Camping in pavilions is not an option.

Many other things, but they are documented on the various pages.
Please, let your friends and fellow fighters know about this.
We have 16 people signed up. We need 300.
We will be printing business cards and fliers asap. Write me to get
some mailed to you.

Thanks, Brand.
