I am thinking of a 15-30-minute Zoom Meeting this Friday, Nov. 21 at 9:00am.

You all know by now that our Zoom meeting did not materialize, but as they say, "it's not you, it's me." I owe everyone an apology. I had to deal with an issue with my neighbor and I forgot to set up the Zoom link, and the meeting, too.

My "plan B" is to set up is to put up a 3 or 4 minute video clip tonight that will explain what I was going to in the meeting.

I will say a word about AI generated Worksheets while I'm on the line. We require students to pay attention to the questions in each step, and type their responces directly on the worksheet. Any work that comes off as a topical paper is usually written for another class or maybe evenby AI. When that happens, I give students a zero and a week to download the worksheet and complete the assignment EXACTLY as directed. If they delay, their grade is toast.

I have heard rumblings that Turnitin can pick up on AI, but I'm not sure how reliable that is just yet.
