TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

Covers the principle of  advance industrial process control. Also provides the usually found  advanced PID configuration in industrial systems. Methods for advanced PID controller configuration and tuning are also discussed.

 

TRAINING OBJECTIVE:

You will be able to :

• Identify the requirement for open loop and closed loop stability
• Understand the concept of advanced PID controller
• Use advanced PID controller tuning
• Know the implementation of advanced PID controller and advanced tuning

• Signal select control
• Feedforward control
• Anti-windup control
• Advanced PID Tuning
• PID Auto-tuning
• Optimal PID tuning

CLASSROOM/ DEMONSTRATION/ LABORATORY EXERCISE:

• Computer Facilities with Personal Computer Intel Pentium III and 4
• Practical work using PLC (Yokogawa, OMRON or Schneider)
• Simulation using Expertune or MATLAB Software
• Process Simulator

PREREQUISITE : Have Knowledge on Process Control
