Job
Summary
We
are seeking an experienced UAT Tester with a strong background in Healthcare,
Medicaid/Medicare, SNAP, TANF, or other Human Services programs. The ideal
candidate will participate in UAT and connected partner SIT activities for
large-scale eligibility, enrollment, and case-management systems.
This
role requires strong collaboration with functional teams, client testing teams,
third-party interface partner agencies, business SMEs, QA teams, and
development teams to ensure accurate validation of complex program rules and
end-user workflows.

Key
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end
UAT cycles by coordinating test planning, validating environments,
preparing test scenarios, and execution of test cases for healthcare and
human-services programs such as Medicaid/Medicare, SNAP, TANF, CHIP, and
eligibility systems.
- Review business
rules, policy updates, and functional requirements and ensure alignment
with program regulations and benefit-determination logic.
- Validate
eligibility outcomes, benefit calculations, notices, claims processing,
and workflow transitions; document test evidence and contribute to UAT
sign-off activities.
- Log, track, and
retest defects as required; collaborate closely with development, QA, and
business teams to ensure timely resolution and verification of fixes.
- Monitor UAT
progress, prepare daily status reports, provide clear updates to
stakeholders, and escalate blockers or risks to project leadership when
needed.
- Maintain
comprehensive test documentation, support traceability, gather sign-off
evidence, and ensure all UAT deliverables are completed with accuracy and
compliance.
- Willingness to
work extended hours, including weekends, to support geographically
distributed teams and critical project timelines.
Mandatory
Skills
- Extensive
experience in User Acceptance Testing, including test execution, defect
management, and validating complex business workflows.
- Strong domain
expertise in healthcare and public-assistance programs, including
Medicaid/Medicare, SNAP, TANF, and eligibility/benefit determination
systems.
- Hands-on
proficiency with UAT and defect-tracking tools specifically Azure DevOps
or other such tools like JIRA, ALM/Quality Center, or equivalent
platforms.
- Intermediate to
Advance SQL knowledge for backend data checks and general data validation
activities.
- Solid
understanding of SDLC, STLC, release processes, and the ability to
interpret business requirements to develop detailed test scenarios and
cases.
- Experience working
with rules-based engines, eligibility systems, and benefits-processing
logic, including validation of program rules and policy-driven
calculations.
- Excellent
communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills for
collaborating with business SMEs, state agencies, development teams, and
QA teams.
