Job Title: Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead
Location: NYC, NY, NJ, CT (onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months
Exp: 12+ years


Required Skills:

·        12+ years of experience in ERP finance implementations, with at least 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience as a Functional Lead in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

·        Completed at least 2 end-to-end global Oracle Fusion Finance implementations from scoping to go-live.

·        Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS), financial close processes, and statutory reporting.

·        Proficient in creating and modifying financial reports using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).

 

Job Description:

·        We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Oracle Cloud Financials modules. In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert, bridging the gap between our business finance teams and technical developers. You will analyze business requirements, configure the system, and ensure that our global financial processes follow industry best practices.

 

Responsibilities

·        Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle Cloud Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expense).

·        Work closely with accounting and finance stakeholders to map business requirements to standard Oracle out-of-the-box workflows

·        Define and optimize the global Chart of Accounts (COA) structure and Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules.

·        Orchestrate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test scripts and resolving functional bugs.

·        Coordinate with technical teams to map, clean, and validate financial historical data during system migration.

·        Review Oracle’s quarterly cloud updates, perform impact analysis on existing setups, and recommend new feature adoptions.
