Job Description:  

The Talend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using Talend. This role involves building ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable integrations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Development:
Design and implement ETL processes using Talend for Salesforce data integration.
Develop and maintain Talend jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple systems.
Salesforce Data Management:
oWork with Salesforce objects, APIs, and data models to ensure accurate and efficient data flow.
oImplement best practices for Salesforce data migration and synchronization.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize Talend jobs for speed and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
Data Governance & Compliance:
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
Maintain documentation for integration processes and workflows.
Collaboration & Support:
oWork closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements.
Provide technical support for integration-related issues and enhancements.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on Talend and Salesforce platform updates and new features.
Recommend improvements to integration architecture and processes.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in ETL development, with at least 3 years in Talend.
Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using Talend.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Talend Data Integration tools and components.
Proficiency in Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and data structures.
Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and JSON/XML formats.
Certifications (Preferred):
Talend Data Integration Certification.
Salesforce Platform Developer or Integration Architecture Designer.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other ETL tools or data integration platforms.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Exposure to big data technologies and data lakes.
