Job Description/ Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Application Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our application teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions on AWS. This role involves creating and reviewing application architectures, developing network architecture diagrams, and supporting the migration of legacy applications to modern cloud environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with application development teams to understand their requirements and provide architectural guidance.

• Design, create, and maintain cloud network architecture diagrams for various applications and services.

• Develop and review application architectures for both new cloud-native applications and existing legacy systems on AWS.

• Provide technical leadership and support for the modernization of legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.

• Ensure all cloud solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with industry best practices for security, scalability, and resilience.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS.

• In-depth knowledge of core AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS).

• Experience with designing and documenting network architectures.

• Hands-on experience with migrating legacy applications to the cloud.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
