Job Title: EUC / VDI Support Engineer (VMware Horizon)
Location: Cupertino, California
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced End User Computing (EUC) / VDI Support Engineer with strong expertise in VMware Horizon (Omnissa Horizon Client), Windows environments, and enterprise desktop infrastructure.
This role focuses on virtual desktop support, user environment management, and troubleshooting enterprise systems, including HPC environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for Windows OS and enterprise desktop environments
- Manage and support VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon (VDI infrastructure)
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and virtual desktop issues
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring technical problems
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (AD or similar systems)
- Troubleshoot SMB/CIFS file sharing issues and mapped drives
- Handle application deployment, patching, and software lifecycle management
- Support and maintain HPC cluster environments
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, engineering, support teams)
- Provide technical support to users across different skill levels
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Windows OS (Enterprise level)
- Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon Client (VDI)
- Knowledge of Active Directory / user account management
- Experience with SMB/CIFS protocols and network file systems
- Understanding of HPC cluster administration
- Experience in application deployment tools (SCCM, Intune, etc. – preferred)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (English)
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and end users
- Ability to handle multiple issues in a fast-paced environment
