Dear MES community,
Due to the ongoing insecurities and inequalities connected to the idea of holding a face-to-face conference in September of this year, the MES International Committee has decided that MES 11 will be held as a full online conference. We hope that we will be able to meet in person for MES 12 in Austria in 2023.
The online conference will still be built up around plenary talks, intense discussions, and it will still allow individual presentations. The submission of contributions is still possible, and the deadline has been extended to 14 March 2021. We hope that this might allow scholars, who have interesting contributions but would not have made it to a face-to-face conference, to participate. For information on forms of contributions, and for the submission of specific contributions, please visit https://mes11.aau.at. Feel free to forward this message to any colleague to whom this might apply.
The detailed planning of the online conference is still on the way. If you have any ideas on formats of online interaction, good software to use etc., we would be grateful for any advice directed at m...@aau.at. If you have any urgent questions, please also direct them at m...@aau.at.
