Hi Folks,
I wanted to pass along information on a few upcoming events that
provide an opportunity for people to interact with some new farmers
in the area and learn more about the situation and experiences of
new farmers in general. The events are happening at local libraries
in conjunction with the traveling New Farmer Narrative Project
exhibit - which you can find out more about HERE.

Upcoming New Farmer Narrative
Project Events
Saturday, June 2nd, 6:30pm at the Chatham Library: Free film screening of
the new farmer documentary The
Greenhorns, followed by a Q&A with the
film's director, farmer and activist Severine von Tsharner
Fleming, and other area new farmers. Severine will also be
signing copies of the newly released book Greenhorns:
50 Dispatches from the New Farmers' Movement.
Monday, June 4th, 7pm at the Roe Jan Library:
New Farmer Narrative Project Reception and Talk. We'll be
sharing highlights from the Project (including some of the
findings from the New Farmer Survey), followed by a Q&A
with a number of local new farmers in the Roe Jan area.
Greenhorns will also be present with their new book Greenhorns:
50 Dispatches from the New Farmers' Movement.
Monday, June
18th, 7pm at the New
Lebanon Library:Free film screening of
the new farm documentary Small
Farm Rising, followed by a Q&A with some of
Canaan & New Lebanon's new farmers. Greenhorns will also be
present with their new book Greenhorns: 50 Dispatches
from the New Farmers' Movement.
