Pete,

We went out in Prague one night to a place where you have a tap at your table and they meter your beer consumption...we ended up having a total of 16 liters of beer. These random Czech girls approached us and asked us to join their table. One of them didn't speak English at all, while the other was conversational. Tom was talking with the one who could speak English (she wasn't attractive) and Ji was talking to the one who didn't speak English. She was actually very pretty and had some random tats. Nothing ended up happening, but I bounced early in the hopes that Tom and Jim would close. I drunkenly stumbled to KFC and got some chicken, nd later found out that Tom went nuts at McDonalds...he ordered a double cheese burger, fries, and 20 nuggets. He carried all of that food back to his bunk bed, climbed the latter, and ate most of it. when He couldn't't eat anything more, he dropped the leftovers from the top bunk to the floor. It was funny and we were all disgusted by his behavior.

We rode into Berlin by train, and got to our Hostel which turned out to be extremely highly rated. We drank a bunch of beer at our place and the bartender made us some crazy shots. We had a tame night and went to bed reasonably early. Today we went on a 4 hour walking tour and learned so much about the history of Berlin and the German people. They face their past unlike any other people in the world. It was very eye-opening. We are actually going to go out and experience the 'legendary' Berlin night life. We should have some more stories.

Sounds like an eventful night and I hope Berlin can prove just as funny. Hey if you can't munch some box the next best thing is Maccers right Tom?

I have heard that about the Germans and them facing their history...lets face it though, they kinda needed too. I am glad y'all are doing well and I love all the updates. Makes me really wish I had some gaters while we were trekking!

I don't have any real updates on my status besides that my toe looks really black. I have doctors appointments in the next few days so I will let you know how they go but I have a feeling what they will say. I am so jealous of y'all. Live it up
