It was kind of bad yesterday. We just hung around the area of the city immediately around our hostel and were too tired to really go out. Today was great though. Lots of walking and picture taking. Should get weird tonight hopefully.

Good I am glad you are enjoying it. Is the vibe of the city similar to sydney? We got pretty weird last night, I threw up every where and chad didn't make it home

No, different vibe. Sort of portlandy (never been there, but what I'd guess). Very artsy and alternative. I want to hear about last night. Where did chad stay?

Last night was intense. We both ended up stupid drunk even though I don't think we drank an absurd amount. I ended up cabbing it back to nicks house without any keys, started throwing up, and tried to sleep outside. His parents found me and put me on the couch. Chad ended up sleeping at one of nicks friends apartments but woke up and had absolutely no idea where he was. Today is just going to be one of those days

I woke up in an amazing downtown Sydney apartment. Had not the slightest idea where I was. There was an empty bottle of johnny walker blue label and patron on the table.

I had guys issue me death threats on 2 separate occasions last night. Not the fun loving, artsy crowd I expected

We got into the bar hosting the Swedish team party for the Australian open. At least that's what it seemed like. We weren't on 'the list' (which we didn't know existed) but then the bouncer leaned in and said something I didn't understand and 'double stamped' our hands which gave us access to the elevator and up the the 4th floor. It was weird and expensive up there though and I struck out about 3 times. I even danced semi creepily by myself and then some gay dude got all up on my dick and I literally had to give him a little push away.

Hey guys,

So Peter and I are thinking about booking Istanbul (we have solid internet and no reason to not while we have time...). What are your guys' thoughts? Tom, your friend in Turkey said that the Sultanhamet area was a good choice? The apartment I have found is right next to the four seasons in that area, and seems like a great family run place for around $70-$90 per night total. We are definitely willing to reserve it, but want to see how many nights you all think we should book. Peter and I are thinking 3 or 4...(we were in auckland 3 nights and it felt like a good visit..obviously istanbul will be more interesting). Input, ideas, thoughts? we know that we dont NEED to reserve yet, but we have plenty of time and internet to do so in the next week, so we figure why not.

Here is a link to the hotel/apartment:

Let us know.

Book now or when we are together in Thailand? And the only reason to shorten the time would be to stay a night longer somewhere in Romania or something which we don't really need.

You boys be safe in Thailand and give updates if possible. If not see y'all in patong
