I hope all is well. Where are y'all now/how is everything going? I got your message Tom, sorry I didn't answer I was with a doctor. I think I will fly in the same time as mark so hopefully I will see you guys in Munich!

I finally got around to looking at the photos you took from Nepal chad, they are awesome. And speaking of Dropbox, did something happen to the account? I can't seem to find my photos

Peter,

We are currently in Brasov Romania. We moved quickly through Sofia and are moving quickly until we get to Budapest. The trains have all been night trains thus far so we saved some time. We have been very odd in how we do night trains...we have been finishing entire bottles of vodka while we are on the train. It is very weird and we get really shitfaced. That's gonna stop haha

Sofia was a weird place...nice little town with a pleasant town center but it has the feel of a dreary communist city. Nobody seemed actually joyful. We went to a self serve pub where you fill your own glass and are charged based on a meter. It was very cool! We also drank in the park...a lot.

We have t really seen too much of Brasov, but we enjoy the city center a lot. Today we are going to draculas castle, which should be very cool. We think Baldea is from here so we will email him and stuff. On to sighisoara this afternoon!

Tell us about yourself now...what have you been up to and how is the healing going? Fill us in on what the doc says about your return. Everywhere we go we sit at a four person table and there is always a weird empty space. We need you back!

Get better soon!

Great to hear you’re doing better and optimistic about Munich. Some strange business has been happening with dropbox. I just checked it again and it keeps fucking up. We think somebody is accidently deleting shit, but can’t tell who. We’re doing great and are heading off to see Bran Castle (dracula’s House) in about an hour.

Well hopefully everyone kept the originals and then the Dropbox thing wouldn't matter at all.

Great description of the trains, I can imagine y'all getting super fucked up on them. I guess anything you can do to pass the time/help you pass out on a long train ride the better. I can imagine Sofia and other major cities in Eastern Europe being dreary but it still sounds like you are having a blast.

The healing is going well, doctors not longer casually drop that they will have to amputate my big toe (fucking Nepalis). Saying that though, it still is too early to tell the extent of the damage but all the doctors say I will be surprised at what can actually heal. The only concern are my big and little toe on the left foot. The big toe has started to get black at the tip but that doesn't necessarily mean that the whole tip is dead. Like I said, just have to wait and see.

I really have progressed though. When I was in Nepal, walking to the bathroom was very painful and when I first got home it was the same. Now I can actually walk around the house can tell when I have been on my feet too much. I am currently doing two treatments of hyperbaric treatment a day. It's basically a glass tube that they pressurize with pure oxygen and they equate it to diving in the ocean. The doctors talk about it as the end all be all of treatment but realistically it may help with blood flow and therefore expedite healing, but probably not do anything extra. I think they want my to do this for 20 days but there isn't a magic number to it.

I say I think I will be able to come back around Munich just by my current pain and the progress I made. I don't need to be 100% when I come, I just need to be able to carry my bag and get along. Basically if I can walk from cafe to cafe, I would rather be doing that in Germany than in the Fenelon household. Plus, I have asked doctors and they say that there would be no reason that they would tell me not to go back unless I don't fee up for it. So I figure I would take one of the cell phones while you guys tour around and I would sit in a beer hall (who would be doing it right??) so basically I am very optimistic and am going to look into buying a flight soon and just make sure that I can get a refund if need be.

I guess the only other update I have is that Laura is flying in for the weekend so I am excited for that. Tanks Again for the emails guys, chad you really captured it, Thomas I thought Volding made you a better writer than that, and I couldn't quite hear you Jim. Take care and enjoy!

Talk to y'all soon

Sorry I had to go on the phone. I ended up leaving the drug test place cause I hate those places and it was like an hour wait.

But glad to hear you are enjoying yourself but JIM I hope all is well and nothing serious. Instead of getting country SIM cards you can get European universal cards so we won't have to get different ones for each country. But besides all that I am back home and just waiting for my next treatment.

Thanks Tom for telling my that you think you guys could help with my bag if I am not able to carry it, even though I think I will be able to handle it. I am going to buy a cane because it will help me with walking. Any ideas as to where to get a cane in sugar land? If I am going to have a cane I want a cool cane. I am thinking like a dark wooden one with a wolf for a handle, not that I have thought too hard about it.

If you guys think of anything in the next few weeks that you want me to bring just let me know the next time we talk or email.

On the cane thing, ask my mom. I am positive she knows where to buy them as both of my parents use them and they bought them somewhere in Houston. I remember her launching a search for a good place to get them so I’m positive she knows. Her number is 832-878-9930

Ya thanks for your concern. The hospital bug finally caught me. I diagnosed myself with staph and had to convince the doctor it wasn't a dog bite. All should be well. I have two antibiotics that I'm taking and hopefully should be good. Unfortunately they didn't hook me up with any of those good ass shots you guys were getting in Nepal
