Hey guys,

Hope all is going well. I went to a doctor today and he was optimistic about my feet. I am seeing another doctor tomorrow and I think the treatment is going to be a hyperbaric oxygen treatment which is supposed to help speed up the healing. Hopefully they can give me a timeline so I can figure out if I can go back or not.

Anyway, how is Istanbul? Try and give me a sense of the city. What it's like walking around, the food, the people, and the sights.

Istanbul is awesome man. The food is absolutely out of control good. We have managed to  see the grand bazaar, Sulleyman Mosque, Haggia Sofia, and do the bosphorus cruise despite my feet acting up quite a bit. Hope your feeling better, and we’re all hoping you get well soon.

Glad yall had fun and it sounds awesome.

I went to another doctor today and he seemed like he was one of the top ortho doctors in Houston, badass penthouse practice in the medical center. He said my toes look alright and that there was a possibility that they could fully recover but I think more realistically that I would lose part of my toe. I am thinking from the nail bed up which at the end of the day doesn't matter at all. I will just continue to NOT be a flip flop guy.

But that was good news and I also asked him about the possibility of travel. He said that he would have not problem against it. I am going back next Friday so hopefully I will have a better idea of when I come by then. I think it depends on how quickly it heals and my ability to walk without pain. I think it will be optimistically two weeks but maybe three. HOpefully soon because I really want to be able to meet up with you guys.

Thomas, what sort of pain/trouble did you have with your feet?
