How was the first night out boys?

Also we booked out Istanbul hotel at hotel alp guesthouse. Looks pretty sweet, €80 per night with breakfast, wifi, and our own shower included. On another note, Thomas, do you remember where baldea told us to visit in translavania?

It was weird. Started terribly, I left my phone in the back of the taxi that brought us from the airport, and now its gone which is awful. Jim left is card in the ATM at the airport and now that’s gone, which is similarly awful. We also got charged a lot for luggage at the airport ($160). On the 9 hr flight we didn’t get a free meal, you had to pay to get anything. Having said all that negativity, last night was pretty fun. We went out and got really drunk to kill our sorrows and stayed out til about 3:00. Which is 7:00 Melbourne time, so we were pretty fucked up.

Sorry that y'all got off to such a rough start but at least you turned it around. Tom we might be given an Htc phone with wireless capability and Jim do you have any extra debit cards?

I guess we will try and pack food for our flight because I am sure we will be in the same boat

Hope all is going well in Sydney, Jm and I just got to the Island and its beautiful. Jim and I have sorted out his money issues, he has cash on him which he’s exchanged for thai money, plus his parents are going to start giving my parents money to put in my account for him. We will have limited access to WIFI, but will try to stay in some sort of contact. Look forward to seeing you guys in a few days.

Good to hear. We have been talking to a bunch of people about Thailand and everyone love it but says to be super careful. Especially at the full moon party so you guys look out but have a blast. 

Also people have suggested doing 3 nights in patong and then cho phi phi and than going back to patong if we want. I don't care at all I am just so pumped for it. Enjoy boys

That all sounds good, and yeah people have told us to be careful as well. Apparently it’s quite common to have your drink fucked with. I am good with that plan, the only thing is I wouldn’t want to move more than once in Phuket. Thailand is a little more difficult to communicate with people and moving a lot might be a little more hassle than its worth. Having said that, we should play it by ear. People have told us that Phi Phi island is crazy and that we should head to the back beach when we get there (whatever that means).

Yeah looking forward to seeing you guys. We have not had the best time in Thailand so far, but have tons of stories for you. It has been good for a lot of it, but really weird and fucked up at other points. We’ll talk tomorrow. Also, our bus gets somewhere into Phuket around 7:00 tomorrow evening. I am pretty sure we’ll beat you guys to the hostel, but if not we won’t be far behind.
