Hi,
Arora keeps crashing on trying to upload something to google docs. Im
using the source tarball compiled with QtCreator and Qt 4.6.1 (from
the mandriva repos)

Before the crash, there is some terminal output which Im pasting here:

(process:4995): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_clipboard_get_for_display:
assertion `display != NULL' failed
Adobe Flash Player: gtk_clipboard_get(GDK_SELECTION_PRIMARY); failed.
Trying to call gtk_init(0,0);

(<unknown>:4995): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_get_origin: assertion
`GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

(<unknown>:4995): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x4400003 unexpectedly
destroyed
Arora(4995)/ KSycocaPrivate::openDatabase: Trying to open ksycoca
from "/var/tmp/kdecache-soumen/ksycoca4"
kfilemodule(4995)/kdecore (services) KMimeTypeFactory::parseMagic: Now
parsing "/usr/share/mime/magic"
kfilemodule(4995)/kdecore (services) KMimeTypeFactory::parseMagic: Now
parsing "/home/soumen/.local/share/mime/magic"

How can we fix this?
Im running Mandriva Linux 2010.1 (64 bit).
Regards,
Soumen

I have no idea about the crash, but why not use the mdv rpm?

Hi,
Ive tried that.. I built from source because I thought that might
change things. Unfortunately, both the mdv rpm and the source-complied
executable work just the same way..

seems to be a flash player/qt issues
maybe it will dissaper if you install/upgrade the qt sdk and then
compile the arora with it
also it would be nice to see if it works in gnash flash player

Hi,
With the release of arora 0.11, I tried building it (this time with Qt
4.7) and Im pleased to inform you that flash seems to be working fine
now (with the squared plugin for native 64 bit linuxes). There is
however still a problem- When I open a google docs spreadsheet, I cant
edit cell. I dont know why. Maybe one of you could try doing this and
let me know if it works? It does seem to work in almost all the other
browsers I have (Opera, Firefox, Chromium).
Regards,
Soumen
