keyboard shortcuts

As a new user (Debian Squeeze with JWM and arora 0.10.2) I am unable
to expand menu buttons with a keyboard shortcut. Once I click on the
menu button (e.g., File), then keyboard shortcuts seem to work. The
arora Wiki article on keyboard shortcuts lists the shortcuts in each
menu, but not how to open the menu tabs without clicking. I must be
overlooking something basic, because in a search of this forum nobody
else seems to have the problem. On KDE 3.5 on another installation,
for example, I am used to Alt+F to open the file menu tab and then a
single key (e.g., A) to perform a (save as) operation.
Can anyone help me perform the same type of operation in arora?
