Hello Armory Testers! I've pushed an update for Armory App. This one improves on current logic, and adds some new bits. Below is the details on what's changed, along with download links. If you are familiar with any of the below languages, do let me know how accurate the translations are. If you find a funny sounding one, or you find something in the app that I missed a translation for, you can let me know via the Google group, or by using the "Report a Bug" option in the settings drawer.
NEW: AEGIS SLIPSTREAM
Replacing the old update system, Slipstream is a lightning fast file management system that validates, parses, and applies updates to The Armory whenever you boot up the app, in the blink of an eye. There have also been some logic improvements with the snackbars, so they update correctly now and have transitioned into a single notifier—so now the info is fluid and fast on a single snackbar.
NEW: LOCALIZATION SUPPORT
Armory App has taken some language lessons, and is happy to share its progress with fluency in:
- Spanish
- French
- Chinese
At this time, the randomizer module is NOT translated, this is due to CAD (the database the randomizer uses) being an absolute behemoth that requires special attention. It will get said attention in the upcoming days, but there is a bit more to do first. More languages are to come, but we've made a pretty big start.
OTHER CHANGES:
Improved preloader logic
Added language initialization screen on first app boot
