Hi,

To upgrade, on a Macintosh, I simply drag the unzipped folder to iTunes
and sync.

However, others have reported they need to delete Armor Alley from their
iPhone before syncing. Also, a google search has many recommendations
to do this deletion: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ad+hoc+install
+delete+iphone&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

This appears to be a Windows iTunes problem:

i'm on a windows machine and each time a new build is installed, i
delete the provision and app from my phone, then delete the app from
itunes and manually remove the provision from the computer, then
import both the new provision and app via itunes and resync, sometimes
i have to resync twice...if i get an error message, i re-import the
provision file and sync again

Hi,

Are these problems only for Armor Alley> Or, do you have this problem
with other ad hoc applications?

Thanks,

Yes, I do this as a standard procedure for installing betas. I could
have itunes simply ask do you want to replace the file, but sometimes,
things will get flaky when I do that. I will try it with this new
build and see what happens...just having the files overwritten.

It is just the way betas are for PC's, you have to delete the app at
least, normally you can leave the provisioning profile though.

With the latest beta, I experimented and just had the new app file
overwrite the old app file and resynced. Absolutely no issues
occurred. I had the new version installed and all my old progress and
achievements already earned were still there. Very awesome.
