Hi Jordan,

Considering how saturated the market is, I don't have the resources to
invest further in Armor Alley.

Armor Alley is on hold indefinately. I currently have no plans to
publish the game.

Thank you for your interest,

-Arthur

Sorry to hear that Arthur.. it does seem like the market is saturated
to me as well.

I would love to see you release Armor Alley on the Mac again, though.
I know you're concerned about piracy there, but I wonder if you could
release it in a protected fashion through Steam, which Valve is about
to release on the Mac:

Armor Alley just belongs on the Mac if you ask me! :)

Good luck and thanks!
Matt

Noooooo!!! :(
You've basically got a finished product - why not just release what you have on your own and then use the money you get from that to fund further dev (assuming you get enough)? You could even re-release it as a new version with the MP feature under a 3rd party publisher later.
It just seems such a shame to have come this far and then give up just a few feet from the finish line.

I'd be willing to take over development or help... I just finished a
game (www.noodlecake.com *shameless plug*), and am looking for new
projects...

Interested?

To release Armor Alley, I think at a minimum the following is needed:
* in store purchase to prevent piracy
* networking support
** a rendezvous server
** tunneling support as per http://samy.pl/pwnat/
* programmer
** credible track record
** royalty agreement
* legal
** contract
** legal fees

Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to pursue this.

I am currently pursuing bio-regeneration and bio-rejuvination. These
seems like much more worthy endeavors. After decades of work I am close
to a demonstrable breakthrough. I must achieve something demonstrable
before I run out of personal funds, as no one else is likely to invest
in these pursuits without significant results.

Cheers,

-Arthur

Why in store purchase? Not sure what real benefit this gives you...

I don't think you would need either of these... You can minimize scope by restricting games to bluetooth and LAN

I've offered...

Same as above...

If you don't have the resources, sign off the project to someone (preferrably myself), and let me cut you back a check in royalties...

If you want to keep control of the source, let's sign an agreement, and let me look at some source, and let me determine how much time and effort is needed to get a minimum viable product out the door..

Thoughts?

Hi Jordan,

I've have no response from my last e-mail to you.

I think, generally, public negotiation shows poorly.
