Luys foundation scholarships

Dear colleagues, students, scholars,

I am happy to inform you that LUYS Foundation Education Program is already accepting applications for financial support (scholarship grants) for students accepted to top colleges and universities of the world for a student year 2009/2010. You can find more information about this at Luys Foundation’s official website at www.luys.com or by contacting them directly at Schola...@Luys.am, in...@luys.am or j...@luys.am.

You will find the list of accepted universities (as well as what to do in case if the university of your choice is not in the list) on the website.

Please note that deadline for sending applications is set to June19, 2009. Also, please note that the age limitation for applying is set to 18. While this deadline is set too short and will present difficulties for those students who will find out about their acceptance later in the year, please remember that this foundation is still a work in progress and still has a lot of flaws to overcome.

Therefore, if age or deadline criteria create limitations for you while you would otherwise qualify, please bring it to the attention of fund’s administration. It is your feedback that should shape this fund to better meet your needs. There are a lot of discussions on this topic on ARMACAD forum at

Հարգելի ուսանողնե՛ր, հարգելի գործընկերնե՛ր

Ուրախ եմ հայտնելու, որ արտերկրի բարձր վարկանիշային  գիտաուսումնական կենտրոնների հայ ուսանողներին աջակցելու ծրագիրն իրականացնող հիմնադրամներից մեկի՝ «Լույս»-ի էլեկտրոնային կայքն արդեն գործում է` www.luys.am: Եվ հիմնադրամն այժմ ընդունում է առաջատար համալսարաններում սովորող ուսանողների հայտերը 2009/2010 ուսումնական տարվա կրթաթոշակների համար։

Լրացուցիչ ինֆորմացիա ստանալու համար կարող եք դիմել Schola...@Luys.am, in...@luys.am կամ j...@media.mit.edu հասցեներով։

Շտապեցե՛ք դիմել, քանզի հայտերի ընդունման ժամկետը, ցավոք, ավարտվում է 7 օրից՝ հունիսի 19-ին։ Սկզբանապես վերջնաժամկետ սահմանված էր մայիսի 31-ը (այն դեպքում, երբ կայքը սկսել է գործել միայն մայիսի 18-ին), ապա այժմ երկարաձգվել է` այս անգամ՝ հունիսի 9-ից մինչև հունիսի 19-ը (ինչը ևս բավարար չէ, քանի որ, օրինակ, այս ամառվա ընթացքում ընդունվողները չեն կարողանա դիմել)։ Ավելի ճիշտ է, երևի, հայտերն ընդունել և դիտարկել անընդմեջ, ողջ տարվա ընթացքում, քանի որ տարբեր երկրներում համալսարանների ընդունելության ժամկետները տարբեր են։

Զուգահեռ, այս և հիմնադրամի գործունեության այլ հարցերի ակտիվ քննարկում է կազմակերպվել ԱՐՄԱՔԱԴ-ի ֆորումում՝
