Event Description

This workshop will provide an overview of the fundamentals of Project Management. It will cover the four Phases of Project Management, the business aspects and the responsibilities of a project manager.

A Project Manager continually faces challenges and the success of its project is dependent upon keeping the equilibrium between three key elements; Quality, Cost and Delivery.

The presenter will offer industry real case scenarios, share samples of schedules on Microsoft Project and lead the participants in a group project.

Guest Speaker:

Ojeni Sammis worked at Xerox Corporation for 27 years.  She has extensive experience in managing complex projects entailing multi disciplined/cross organizational teams often disbursed geographically. She has broad knowledge of generating technical proposals leading to winning contracts.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, extensive technical knowledge in Computer Architecture, Hardware design, Image processing and printing industry.  She has worked with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Service, Finance, 3rd parties and Contracts departments.  She has participated in business strategy, contract negotiations and pricing discussions with VP level management and Chief Executive level customers.
