Here is a brief story for my presentation (if it
happens).
In 2001 I was hired to work on a project for
Advancedbionics (Now part of the Neuromodulation division of Boston Scientific),
in August the project was cancelled and the entire team had to be redirected
to work on the two other projects within the company. However we soon
found out that the owner of the company had sold the IP writes to a
proprietary chip we were using. Thus started the intense 18 months where we
had to bring up a brand new platform of a product that had already been
submitted to the FDA using this proprietary chip, and we started work on the
second generation ASAP. We developed a brand new system, borrowing some
elements from my previous project, in just over 18 months. We passed all FDA
and IEC/EN testing requirements, and had our entire program submitted to the
FDA by end of 2003 and we shipped our first 2nd gen device in April of 2004
(after FDA approval).
My company makes implantable medical devices, we
have a patent on the world's smallest micro stimulator at only 1cc. Our
device consists of an IPG (implantable pulse generator), remote for the user,
charger for the user, and a computer for the clinician to program the
stimulation settings for the patient. http://controlyourpain.com has a
complete overview of our device, as well as pix and a video on how our
technology works.
I can write some more if needed, also will try to
get hold of you today.

Presentation can be in English. You do not need any
PowerPoint unless you want to do any.
If you come with work gloves I will personally buy you beer
in Local pub when we go there after presentation and discussion J
Thanks anyway. Which day you might do that what you think?
My phone number is 094252378

I'll call you when I get there. Is the presentation in English or
Armenian? Also do I need a power point? I'm coming there with
work gloves and goggles to work :)
Sincerely,

I am sorry for such a short notice but believe me I didn’t
expect that you are going to be in Armenia. But to tell you the truth I
am really very happy to know that you are with LCO and volunteering in
Armenia. I was working there too.
Dear Sam, I don’t know how you describe you the importance
of such meetings and to tell you our readiness to do anything to get you
as Guest Speaker at our Manager’s Club. We are very interested to get
more experience from young and experienced person like you. We want to
know all new and advanced knowledge you own and especially in new fields
like medical devices.
All what we ask is just one success story about your
managerial experience.
If it would be required we will come to pick you up even
from Artsakh to get you to our meeting :)
Also there will be beer drinking after all and I am sure
you will not lost any day staying in Armenia.
Attached I am sending description of Manager’s Club.
Thanks
Albert

Hi Albert,
I am going to be there for four weeks actually starting next
week. Although I am going to be volunteering for the LCOUSA
organization. I will be in a village called AZAD. I don't
think I'll have time to do this with such short notice.
Sincerely,
Sam
