Attention Armatage Residents-Robberies of Persons

**Crime Prevention Specialist, Amy Lavender, will be at the ANA
Meeting tonight - 6:30 p.m. Armatage Park Building**

Between June 12-June 14, there were two robberies of persons in
relatively close proximity to one another. There were no weapons
involved in either of the incidents, just force.

#1-The incident occurred near 58 St W/Washburn Av S on June 12 around
11:15 p.m. A male was walking home from work when he was assaulted by
four black males, approximately 16-18 years old, 5’9”-6’0”, light
builds. Two suspects were wearing white t-shirts, one wearing a red
shirt and the last wearing a black shirt. A backpack was taken. The
victim refused medical attention.

#2-The incident occurred near 57 St W/Russell Av S on June 14 around
4:10 a.m. while the victim was walking to the bus stop. While walking
on 57 St., the victim noticed a white, four-door car following him
slowly. The vehicle stopped at 57 St W/Russell Av S. When the victim
passed by, three black males jumped out of the car, surrounded the
victim, demanded money and assaulted the victim. The victim was only
able to get a description of one of the suspects: black male, 18-19
years old, muscular, wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans. The victim
refused medical attention.
