Yesterday, Eli and I were discussing the study group and the thought came up that now that we are no longer an ARMA affiliate, we are not obligated to teach the standard longsword-centric ARMA curriculum. So we're putting the question to you: what do you want to study? We can teach virtually any weapon that you can think of, and if you bring up something we haven't done very often it will be a great excuse to shake off the rust and improve our own knowledge of it. The basic options would be grappling, dagger, single-hand sword, sword and buckler, sword and dagger, rapier, rapier and buckler, rapier and dagger, longsword (German or Italian), and the various staffs and pole weapons. Let us know what you think will best serve you, and we'll work it into our new training schedule.

I enjoy the longsword, but my current interests run along the line of sword and buckler, sword and dagger, and rapier.

I also plan to study more harnessfechten and halberd/poleaxe, but was anticipating having to do that largely on my own due to the lack of equipment in the group.
