In the past a few members of this list have been interested in this
program and have participated in it as well and so I wanted to make
sure that you received information regarding the kick-off meeting for
the Team AIDAsha Marathon and Half-Marathon and 5K program.
The open meeting is where you can learn more about this fundraiser
that benefits two volunteer-based, non-profit organizations - AID
(Association for India's Development) & Asha - that work on
educational and sustainable development projects in India.
The kick-off and informational session is on Sunday, April 5th. at
2.00pm at MIT. It does clash with the TICA Holi party and so if you
cannot make it to the informational meeting, please feel free to write
to me or the email address below to get more details. The actual
training for the marathon/half-marathon/5K starts in late April, early
May and you are welcome to come for a few runs and get a feel for it.
