We have the canoes and all the gear so let's make the most of the opportunity! 

The Friends of Horn Pond, Mystic River Watershed Association and the City of 

Woburn are holding an afternoon only water chestnut removal event on July 18. 

We need 30 volunteers for the canoes and 10 for the shoreline team. Register 

today to reserve your spot in a canoe. Come on down, join the fun, help remove 

this invasive non-native aquatic plant from our pond. The fish, wildlife, and 

native aquatic plants will love you for it!
