Common Gallinule at Horn Pond

Hi all 

This morning a juvenile Common Gallinule was found at Horn Pond in the Garden pond, best viewed from the dike path near the vent pipe.

Its only the 2nd record in ebird and the last time this species was seen there was in 1974 when a BBC trip reported 8 of them.

Definitely worth a trip over. Hopefully it will stick around for a while.
