7:00 - 7:10pm Welcome from the Chair and Introductions

Cynthia Palmer, BAC Chair

Introductory Question: If you were the incoming director of transportation for Arlington, what is one priority measure (broad or specific) that you would take to make biking better (and safer) in Arlington?

 

7:10 – 7:20pm NVRPA and WABA Introductions

 

Summary: Anh Phan, Community Engagement Manager with Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NVRPA/NOVA Parks) and Kevin O’Brien, the Virginia Organizer with Washington Area Bicyclists Association (WABA) will introduce themselves and give a brief overview of their roles.

 

7:20 – 7:50pm Shared Mobility Device (SMD) Report a Problem Feature

Antonio Rossi, Capital Bikeshare & Scootershare Planner, DES / ACCS 

Summary: Antonio will be sharing information about the Shared Mobility Device program and the new Report a Problem feature where users can submit a ticket for parking-related for scooters and e-bikes. 

 

7:50 – 8:20pm Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail

Judd Isbell, President, Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail

 

Summary: Judd Isbell, President Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail, will join to discuss the work of the organization, current initiatives, and how to get involved.

 

8:20 – 8:30pm Written Updates and DES Organizational Chart

Leah Gerber, Transportation Planner, DES / TPCPM

         Summary: Leah will provide project updates and review the DES organizational chart.

8:30 – 8:50pm Budget Meeting Overview and March BAC/PAC Meeting

BAC Led

 

Summary: Cynthia will give a brief overview of the budget meeting then open for a discussion of topics for the March BAC/PAC meeting regarding Vision Zero.
