Dear members of the BAC and PAC

 

The Arlington County Department of Environmental Services has finished concept designs to improve the Columbia Pike Bicycle Boulevards to improve bicyclist comfort and enhance the safety of all roadway users. Located along 8^th Street S. and 9^th Street S. north of Columbia Pike, and along 12^th Street S. south of Columbia Pike, these bicycle boulevards provide important east-west alternatives to bicycling along Columbia Pike.

 

As the project manager, I invite you to learn more and share your feedback. You may:

 

Attend an Open House

Date: September 18, 2025

Time: Drop-in anytime between 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (2909 16th Street South)

Location: Walter Reed Community Center

Come meet the team, view the concept designs, and ask questions in person.

Share your thoughts online

If you can’t attend the Open House, you can still participate online.
Starting September 18, you’ll find the concept designs and a feedback form on the project webpage. The form will be open through October 5.
