W&OD Rally on 9/6

Hi Arlingtonian friends,

As many of you are probably aware, Dominion Energy has 'grand' plans to clear-cut along a 33-mile stretch of the W&OD Trail, making for a much less pleasant experience for all trail users. Dominion paused its chainsaws in the face of widespread public backlash but only temporarily; we need a permanent solution/agreement that balances the park experience with Dominion's maintenance needs.

In response, a group of organizations including WABA will be hosting a rally on Saturday Sept. 6 @10AM to tell Dominion: NO MORE CLEAR-CUTTING! And we invite y'all to join us!

Where: Vienna Town Green (I know it's a little far from Arlington, but it's a straight shot on the W&OD!)

When: 10am-11am
