The Refresh of Arlington's Public Spaces Master Plan: Open House on September 24, 2025

Arlington is refreshing its 2019 Public Spaces Master Plan (PSMP), an element of the County's Comprehensive Plan that helps guide the future of our public spaces and facilities. Welcome to The Refresh!

The Refresh builds on the progress made when the PSMP was adopted in 2019 and introduces new priorities and updates. Join us on September 24 for an open house at Lubber Run Community Center to inform the direction of Arlington's public spaces.

Event Details

Date: Wednesday, September 24

Time: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Location: Lubber Run Community Center, Oak Room

Address: 300 N Park Dr, Arlington, VA 22203

At the open house, you can:

  • Learn about The Refresh.
  • Explore interactive stations.
  • Share your ideas and feedback about access to amenities.
  • Help shape the future of Arlington's public spaces!

Please RSVP to let us know that you are coming!

RSVP HERE!

Note: RSVPs are not required but will help staff plan for expected attendance. We are happy to provide reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities and language interpretation upon request. Please email requests to us here.

Getting to the Event

  • Public Transit: The community center is a few blocks from the Ballston Metro station. The closest bus stop is on the ART 72 bus line at the N George Mason DR/N Henderson Rd stop.
    • These stop codes are 6000377 and 6000379.
  • Parking: There is a garage connected to Lubber Run Community Center with free parking up to 4 hours; however, space can be limited. There is also free street parking nearby that is available after 5:00 p.m.

Can’t make it? Look out for an online feedback form that will be launched after the event. Sign up for updates on the Public Spaces Master Plan Refresh webpage so you’re the first to learn about other opportunities to weigh in on this project.
