Hi all,
I’ve worked out a schedule of astronomy nights to be held, as usual, at Robbins Farm Park this year. The dates are all available at
https://arlingtonastronomy.org/ and the first event will be next weekend, May 20th, starting at about 8pm.
The planets, quite frankly, aren’t great this summer, but we’re going to work with what we have and have some nice events. This next weekend the slimmest bit of the Moon sets and we’ll take a look at Venus, which will be half-full, before it sets. Mars is a little higher up, and we’ll see that too. Come on by Robbins Farm Park around 8 or a little earlier to catch the Moon!
