Hi all,
I waited for a while on sending this out to see what would happen with Dorian heading out to sea. Seems that the forecast actually has everything clearing out by early evening, so I am planning on holding an Astronomy Night tomorrow, starting around 7:30 in Robbins Farm Park! This will be a great chance to look at the Moon which will just happen to be positioned in between Jupiter and Saturn. We’re able to get started a bit early as well since we don’t need to wait for full dark to see the Moon. This is a great time to bring younger ones who can’t stay up as late.
Hope to see you all there, and I hope the forecast holds. Even with partial clouds, I’ll still be up at the park, and we’ll look at the moon whenever it is out!
Jeff
