Hi all, you’re getting this email because you’re still subscribed to the Arlington Astronomy Nights mailing list. (If you don’t want to be anymore, you can find unsubscribe info at the bottom of this message.)
Last year was a complete wash-out due either to full-on rain or just cloudy skies each night. We didn’t get a single observing night in. With luck, we’ll have a better year this year!
You’ll find my full schedule posted here: https://arlingtonastronomy.org/ I usually try to theme each night as something somewhat unique, but due to the bad luck of cancellations last year and the lack of planets for most of the summer this year, I’m just repeating a couple themes this time. Also, there’s a penumbral (outer shadow) eclipse of the Moon in September.
The first night is next weekend.
Spread the word!
Clear skies,
Jeff Alexander
