Hi all,

The forecast isn’t great at the moment, but I’m hoping that we’ll be holding the next Arlington Astronomy Night this Saturday, June 29th. This weekend we’ll be looking at deep sky objects — these are things outside our solar system and they are fairly faint, so we won’t be getting started until after 8:45 when it is close to full dark.

If the sky ends up clear, we’ll look at a double star, a star clusters, and if the conditions are good enough, maybe a galaxy or nebula!

If things don’t pan out for this weekend, the next Astronomy Night will be July 27th and we’ll have the same program thanks to another moonless evening.

Hope to see you all there!

Jeff

Hey folks, I sadly need to cancel astronomy night for tonight due to the overcast skies. There may be a little brief clearing around dusk, but clouds will roll right back in afterwards.

Next Astronomy Night will be July 27th!

Jeff
