Hi all,
When the sky gets on the darker side, join me up at Robbins Farm Park (probably about 8:45) for the next Arlington Astronomy Night! There won’t be any moon out then, so we’ll have as dark a sky as we can get for looking for “deep sky” objects (these are things outside our own solar system). They won’t be as deep as JWST’s of course, but hopefully we’ll be able to make out a star cluster in our own galaxy.
Wear bug spray and try to remember to keep flashlights pointed down at the ground. We’ll need our best dark-adapted vision to see the faint objects in the sky.
Hope to see you there under clear skies,
Jeff
