New Manager for the Group

Hello ladies and gents,

Just want to say we had an awesome time with Mark Reid this weekend and boy did we learn TONS!!!! as always a pleasure to see him again.

Thanks a bunch to Julie Varndholt for just being the most awesomest hostess for the Workshop, and the food was delish!!!

Also on another note. I discussed this weekend with a great lady concerning managing the group more actively in Phoenix, since now I am three hours away and she said that she is more than happy to do so. So Sara Bernadette Stradling will be managing the monthly face painting jams and we will be collaborating when I have a master painter come over to Phoenix to teach, or she can by all means book one as well.

Lets all remember that the jams are to learn, share, collaborate, interact, and meet other fellow artist in the area. This is always a good thing to do and it's also great to learn from others in other to improve ourselves, as well if anything we have to offer aids another, then that is just great!!

Remember, positive attitude, open mind, constructive criticism is welcome but be conscientious on how we come across; because we are here to help each other, not to degrade one another right :0).

Thank you and will be doing my best to attend jams if possible but for sure will be there for the workshops. Lets stay in touch friends and colab!!!!

Hi Everyone, this is Julie Varholdt, I run Lovely Buttons Productions out of Tempe.

I just had a lady call from Impact Church in Scottsdale.

They are having an event THIS SUNDAY........ February 23rd.

They need face painters ALL DAY at this event.

The theme is for the movie FROZEN.... I personally LOVED that movie and saw it twice so far. They will pay you hourly, but don't be greedy on this one guys, this is an all day event, so you're going to make out great. But don't undersell yourself either, because you're going to be hurting yourself and the rest of us.

I personally would suggest $50 to $75 an hour. They have about 2000 people at this church so it gets BUSY.
