Hello everyone

i'm writing here because I have a problem with the way my AriOS looks. When I installed it for the first time it was looking as i saw on the "Try without installing" moment, but when i restarted my computer because of the drivers installation updates and all this stuff, the look changed automatically. I have been looking everywhere but i can't find the way to make my AriOS look like the first time. I'm adding two pictures with my explanation to make it more clear:
. My AriOS looks like in picture 1
. I want to change  it to how it looks in picture 2, with the applications display when you move the mouse to the top corner and all this.

I would apreciate some help,

Thanks

Perhaps boot into the live dvd, then use synaptic to enable the gnome desktop elements, then reboot into the regular OS . Nowadays, as a matter of routine I run parted magic over the hdd.
Specifically the format utilities. Darik's boot & nuke and the other app. which destroys the bootloader and gpt. Then use gparted. Restore a partition table. Put a swap sector at the end of the drive, format the rest to a  ext 4 partition. This may seem like overkill, however I find it works when placing 1 gnome based distro over another. Hope that helps you.
P.S. Did you perchance flash your bios inbetween? If so, your CMOS may have been reverted to a default position.

Hello,

Here comes the thing i think that happens. I installed AriOS and then some updates. After installing the updates i got a message saying that there are some configuration things that can be replaced by the update. I clicked at "more details" and i saw "gnome-shell" among other things. So i decided not to replace this.
Ok, thats the only thing I did different form the first installation and i have rebooted sometimes and I still have that Cool AriOS look.

I don't know if now its completely solved, but i'm very happy
if it changes again i'll try your suggestion IciLeMeme
Thank you Roman and IciLeMeme
