1Misleading promotion - Saw the banner of 15% off takeaway for ala carte food but after ordering, the 15% only granted to those 3 items shown in banner. This is not clear from banner.2. Long cooking time. Ordered tuna melt ala carte and waited 10 mins but still not ready. When to ask and the staff unsure how long more needed. In the end, accepted the half melted cheese topping since rushing for work. Mayb heavenly wang needs to invest in better cooking equipment to speed up food preparation esp when it is at working area when office workers are rushed for time.
Dependable local coffee shop franchise with some local favorites on the menu besides kaya toast and eggs. Very standard quality and offering, so you can't go wrong, but you won't be expecting much beyond standard. Personally, I prefer their style of kaya toast to the one at Toast Box. Very similar to Ya Kun. I would give them one more star if the eggs are served without the shells like Ya Kun.
Hot drinks now comes out of a press button machine. Understandably it standardises how each and every cuppa will taste, but it loses the whole kopitiam charm. Not looking forward to when we'll be facing a wall of vending machines in eateries.
Ordered a mee siam set and added on with 2 eggs. Total $9.20.Mee siam - bee hoon is lumpy. Never had bee hoon in this state before. Looks like overcooked or overnight. Will never visit heavenly wang again
I used to think such cafes are expensive. But when I compare their prices now to those of the food courts, it's not difficult to see who has more integrity in the face of 1% GST increment. This set is just $6.80 with a large cup of beverage when food courts would have charged $2. Food is delicious to boot.
The food here are affordable and cheap, ordered the tuna sandwich and the soup, apparently not spicy but it's spicy for my taste bud. It's also included the drinks. The ice tea taste weird, taste like they put some milk on it. Anyway every resto has their signature dish and drinks, I like to try things that I haven't tried yet. It's small joint and probably fit like less than 20 person.
I ordered laksa for breakfast, however the food I received is far different from the photo shown. There was not prawn and sliced fish cake, only had egg and tau kua. Also the attitude of the staff was not friendly, asked me hastily and ruthlessly. Will never come back againBad service ever !!!
