The West Oakland BART Station is located in the West Oakland residential and industrial community. The station serves both local residents and riders from throughout the region with its excellent freeway access and short ride to downtown San Francisco.
The planned West Lake Street Station will be located in a bustling area of Minneapolis, near many shops and amenities as well as urban residential neighborhoods. The station area is within walking distance of Bde Maka Ska and the popular Midtown Greenway trail.
The planned West Lake Station will be located under the bridge that carries West Lake Street over the LRT and freight rail alignment. Stairs and elevators connecting the LRT station to the bridge are visible behind the station in the rendering above. Planned tree plantings in the foreground area are not shown.
Near the planned West Lake Street Station, West 31st Street will be reconfigured to provide a better connection to the station. East of West Lake Street, a new shallow LRT tunnel will keep light rail trains underground through a portion of the Kenilworth Corridor.

This station serves the active Cudell-Edgewater neighborhood in the City of Cleveland. It lies on the north side of Detroit Avenue, near the intersection of West Boulevard, Cudell Avenue and West 101st Street.
Beginning Tuesday, October 24, staton repairs will be taking place at the West Chicago Metra station. Work is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM until the end of December 2023. Access to the parking lot and station platform will be maintained at all time, however access to the inside of the station could be limited at times. Please allow additional time traveling to the station and exercise caution near the work zone.
History
The West Palm Beach Border Patrol Station was first established in 1927 with one officer assigned to the station. The work consisted primarily of apprehending deserting crewmen attempting to obtain work in area resorts and hotels. Smuggling from the Bahamas was also a major factor, particularly during the days of prohibition. In 1928, a Chief Patrol Inspector briefly had his Headquarters in West Palm Beach. During World War II, the station was augmented with additional personnel to address enforcement problems by way of vessel. In addition, station activities included traffic checks to assist in the anti-spy-saboteur program, as well as to halt illegal flights by private aircraft to and over Cuba for the purpose of dropping leaflets or causing harm in Cuba.
West End is on the Redand Gold Lines. There is a surface parking lot with 537 spaces. This stationhas local MARTA bus service as well as the Atlanta University Center Shuttleserving Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse and Spelman Colleges. Shopping, residential housing and historic touristdestinations surround the station.

The Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) is located at the West Oakland Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station at 1451 7th St. The site is approximately 5.58 acres bounded by 7th St to the north, 5th St to the south, Chester St to the west, and Mandela Parkway to the east. The project is replacing 451 BART parking spaces with 762 residential units, 300,000 sq ft of office space, and approximately 53,000 sq ft of ground floor retail uses. The project also includes surface plazas and circulation elements.
Heavy rain, high elevation snow, and high winds will continue in the Pacific Northwest, Rockies and parts of the Great Basin through the weekend. River flooding, flash flooding, and debris flows will also be possible near recent burn scars. Strong storms with heavy downpours will impact the Gulf Coast into the Southeast through Sunday morning. In 2022, the City of Edwardsville partnered with Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau to purchase the building and restore this Route 66 landmark to map out the history of the iconic highway in Edwardsville. It opened in June 2023 as a Route 66 interpretive center to take visitors on a nostalgic trip back in time through the stories and photos from past decades. We're thrilled to showcase what we hope will be a revolving array of memorabilia! Great Rivers and Routes staff will be available to answer questions, provide details on other area Route 66 attractions and also show off the neat souvenirs available for purchase at the station. Please note: At this time, there is no dedicated parking for the West End Service Station. Street parking is available in the area. A public lot is located south of the station at the site of the Route 66 monument and Experience Hub. We do offer a bike rack at the station for those who care to travel on two wheels.
