Trouble installing ariba in windows 8

I download the zip, uzip in a directory in d:\ariba52
goto bin and execute start.bat
it goes all the process and as the last commad executed it show
opening http://localhost:9080/demo/aribaweb  in browser

but nothing hanppens the browser doesnt opens any window

i m using mozila firefox as the default browser

any workaound?

I had the same issue. I copied the url and pasted it in Google Chrome. It could open up

AribaWeb.
