Scientists have been using DNA techniques for some time to help protect endangered species of fish.  But now they’re tackling a more complex problem – how to protect endangered populations of fish.  My story, which takes place primarily in Spain, airs today on The World, about 40 minutes into the hour-long broadcast.  I will post the audio and accompanying video on my website on Monday.

Also, I've added a couple new audio slideshows to my website that I produced for two Boston hospitals -- MGH and Brigham & Women's [see the top two pieces on this page and the one entitled Beads for Hope a little further down].  They were produced in collaboration with Atlantic Public Media.  Photography by Amanda Kowalski.

Have a good weekend!
