Every day, every moment, an epic battle is raging across the globe.  It’s happening in the ocean.  And the evidence is both highly visible and totally hidden, depending on your perspective.  I've got a new short with Radiolab where I share the tale of an arms race involving trillions of sea creatures, and why their struggle is vital to our survival.  You can find the story on my website.

Also, I'm teaming up with a few producers to work with scientists to tell stories about their research and their lives.  We're calling ourselves Mind Open Media.  Our first story aired on Living on Earth last week, and it was produced by Emily Corwin.  The title is: Here Be Dragons: 400 Years of Icy Exploration in the Hudson Strait.  Check it out on our Mind Open Media website.
